WebSavy On-Line Discussion Group
If your church has a website or e-mail group, or is thinking of setting up such things, you might be interested in a new online discussion group that the Interfaith Resource Center has begun. It's called WebSavy.
The purpose of WebSavy is to share ideas and information about how to improve your church's Internet outreach. IRC recently held a Saturday morning seminar about church websites. From the people who attended, about fifteen signed up for WebSavy. You are welcome to join, too. Rev. Tom Davis of Hanover Presbyterian Church is the moderator of the group. If you're interested, He will add your name to the membership list, which will give you listening and writing access.
If this would be your first experience with an online discussion group, don't be concerned about your level of expertice. If you know how to write an email note and reply to one, that's the essential skill you need.
