The Interfaith Resource announces its 2010 Fundraising Event.

On October 23, Dr. Pat Fosarelli -- theologian, physician, and a lay minister -- will present two programs on topics related to important pastoral care issues.

She teaches spirituality and practical theology at the Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland, and is on the part-time faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has authored several books, including The Family Ministry Desk Reference. A recipient of multiple teaching awards, Dr. Fosarelli frequently addresses both lay and religious audiences.Tickets will go on sale August 1.

Recent Speakers

In April 2009, the Rev Dr Donald Griggs, author of the Bible From Scratch series and Teaching Today's Teachers to Teach taught session in Wilmington and Dover designed for lay persons and Christian educators.

In June 2008, the Rev. Dr. Tom Long, Bandy Professor of Preaching at Candler School of Theology, Emory University in Atlanta provided 2 sessions for clergy and lay leaders.

In July 2007, the Rev. Dr Tony Campolo lead a clergy session and spoke to a packed house at a gathering hosted by Westminster Presbyterian Church.

All of these events were successful fundraisers for the Interfaith Resource Center. Plans for the 2010 event will be posted soon!
